Silly Me!!

This week was finals week for me and so it's been a really long week. But I'm glad to say that this semester is over and I passed with 2 B's and 1 A!! Yippie!!! Well Tuesday I was really tired when I got home from work and so as soon as I got home, I went to bed. Roy stayed up to finish whatever show he was watching. Well the next day we are talking on the phone and he asked if I remembered him awaking me up when he came to bed. I said no, not at all. Then he was like oh you should check out your camera. I was like what you took pictures of me sleeping.....Well he really did....I guess it's funny thought cause check these out.

Roy said it looked like I was trying to choke myself. Maybe I was....I did have a final that next morning. Also look at my hand...it's in my shirt! Weird!

Lemons

In our backyard we planted an orange tree and a lemon tree. Well for months our lemon tree has had lemons but they were still green. Now they are yellow. Yippie we already have lemons and they are actually good. Roy thought they won't by but we cut one open and tasted it. Now we just need to get a juicer.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was awesome. We went up to Holbrook which is always great. I love seeing my family and spending time with them. Here are a few pictures I took Thanksgiving day.

So I have had several people ask me about my new camera. My grandma was one of them. So I was showing her how it works. This is a picture of the leftover mashed potatoes. It's that so funny. My husband rocks!!

My grandpa was doing dishes after dinner and I kept taking pictures so he was like take one of me like this. I call this picture "Grandpa in Jail" Dish Jail that is! HAHA

I don't know how this happened but all us ladies were just sitting here chatting after dinner and so we took a picture. The funny thing is this is where everyone was sitting so we didn't even try to pose for this picture.

My mom and dad...Aren't they so cute.


I love this picture so much. This is Leila and Roy. Leila is the daughter of my Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Mel. She is 6 months old and the happiest baby in the whole world.

Are you serious?!

Look at this....can you believe that this was all in a day and a half? Wow....you would think we had a bunch of people over to help us but no it was just Roy and I. (mainly Roy, haha)

I Love Winter....

I love winter so much! It is finally getting colder at night. Saturday was wonderful. Roy and I spent the night alone. So we decided to light a fire. This was the second time we used our fire pit. We even had hot chocolate. It was so romantic. (Roy would say I'm should a girl for saying that, but hey I am a girl!!) It was cute. Even our dogs, Bella and Hersheys, joined us.

Awesome Present

Roy and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary in October and for my present he got me a new digital camera. Let me tell you, this camera rocks. I don't know much about cameras and when I told him I wanted a new one. I told him my only criteria was that it had a bigger screen. I don't know about mega pixels or anything. Well since he gave it to me, I haven't had anything exciting happen so I can take pictures. So yesterday we went to the ASU game ( we have season tickets) and I thought to myself, great time to take pictures. These are just a few pictures I took and I am amazed at what this thing can do. This first picture I took, I was amazed at the coloring. Everything seems so brilliantly bright. I love it.

Look at how close I can zoom in. I can almost read his lips!

These next 2 are my favorite options. You can choose to do accent colors. So everything else will be black and white and then the camera chooses what color to accent. So I took one of the field and then the next picture is of my sister in law, Brittany demonstrating the accent coloring by holding up her purse.

What is a girl suppose to do???

I think most of you know that I have been going to school to become an R.N. Well I don't know if you know that there is a wait-list to get into the Nursing Program. I have been on this wait list for about a year and a half. Let me tell you....I'm getting tired of waiting.

In October, they pulled names for the spring (2009) semester and once again I did not get pulled. So Roy and I had a long talk. You see lately I have been thinking about changing my major. Now I know what some of you might be thinking.....NO, Why? Isn't that wasting time. Well really it's not when you think about.

I have really been thinking about getting my Elementary Education Degree. Most of the classes I have already taken will go towards this degree so I didn't really waste any time. And I won't be in school any longer then if I went for nursing. Listen to this..... If I continue to wait to get into the nursing program ( who knows how long that will take) I'll still have 2 years until I'm an R.N. and I will only graduate with an Associates Degree. It will take 1 more year to get my Bachelors. Now if I switch to Education, I will have about 2 1/2 years until I'm done with school and that is with my Bachelors.

Now, I want to hear your comments. Let me know what you think of me being a teacher or a nurse.

P.S. I would want to teach 2nd or 3rd grade!

Home Sweet Home

So since many of you haven't been out to see our house. I decided I would share some of the projects I have done around here. This first picture is of the front of the house. Isn't it pretty?!






Now the diamonds on the wall are in the eating area of our kitchen. This little project took me about 2 days. But it is worth every minute of it. The little dots you see on the tips of every diamond is a Coca-Cola bottle cap. By the way Coca-Cola is the theme of kitchen. Also the black paint on the right is a magnetic chalkboard. Cool huh?

This is the entry way. After I got done doing this, I wasn't sure if I liked it but as you can see it stayed.

Ok, now this next picture is my pride and glory. This is up stairs in our loft which we are turning into a game room. Thanks to my awesome Grandma and Uncle Jeremy we now have a pool table up there. (More the reason to come visit-hint, hint) I know that paint is a bright orange but if anybody out there knows me, they know I love bright colors. I did this on 2 walls in this room and it took me 3 whole days. I thought I was going to give up. But it turned out amazing.

This is a guest bathroom upstairs. Pink, orange and Lime green...beautiful!!! The dots are just vinyl stickers.

Roy is a huge University of Michigan fan and I am such a great wife. Our bedroom, yes you heard that right ladies, our bedroom is decorate with Michigan colors. I actually find it to be fun because they make everything you can possibly image, with a Michigan logo or something on it. The helmet is just another vinyl sticker that we just stuck up. If you look closely the green part have the dash lines like a football field.

Go Blue

This last picture is of our backyard. It's not finished yet. The area that looks like a pool would go is going to be fake grass. But that will come when we can afford it. I didn't not do this, I just helped plan it. But there is a fire pit. (Another great reason to come visit, especially now that it is getting colder!!) We also planted a orange tree and lemon tree.

New Do

I think I have had the same hair color for far to long. I'd say about a year and a half. So it was time for a change. Also I haven't really "Cut" my hair probably since Roy and I got married. I have just been letting it grow. Well a little over a week ago, I chopped and colored it. What do you think?

You may not think I chopped it but before I cut it it was almost to my waist. Now it is a couple inches past my shoulders.

Back to School, Back to School

Roy and I Started school this week!!! No I'm not in the nursing program yet, grrrr! But I am taking classes that will go towards my Bachelors in Nursing. This semester I'm taking Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Medical Terminology, and Spanish. The only one I'm truly scared about is Spanish. On the first day we had to stand up and introduce ourselves. I'm thinking to myself, Hello it's been 12 years since I've taken a Spanish class. But I made it through 2 classes so I'm doing ok! :) Oh also my Spanish teacher is from Costa Rico, is LDS, has taught at BYU and at the MTC. Pretty cool huh?!

Roy is going to Phoenix College and he is taking EMT, a firefighting class and another one but I can't remember what it is! :) He seems to really like it so far!

Cocker Spaniel Puppies

We have 2 adorable female cocker spaniels that we need to sell ASAP!!! They are 9 weeks old, have there 1st shots, and are AKC register. Roy and I start school on Monday and will not have time to give them the attention they need. Please if you know anybody that could be interested have them call me. We are asking $300. Thanks so much!!

Almost 2 years ago.

In October Roy and I will celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Crazy how time flys. Well about a week ago we finally developed our disposable camera from the wedding. We had about 25 camera and the sad thing is only about 4-6 pictures from each camera turned out. It's called a flash people!! Anyways these were some of my favorites.
