In my life stress comes in waves! Some days I feel like I am free to do whatever. I can craft, watch tv, take a nap or just enjoy life with my little family. But then the mother load hits. Like this week for example, I had my first test of the semester. The first test is always stressful because you are trying to figure out how that teacher test. So the whole week before was nothing but study in my spare time. The test came and went and I only missed 3!! Yippie! All my studying paid off! Then on Wednesday I was asked to teach CPR/First aid to the young women from church. I didn't look at any of the material until the day before (because I was so focused on my test). I was worried that it was going to be fun and upbeat for the teenagers but it went well and I had a great time doing it. Then moving on to care plans due before Saturdays clinical. That's what I worked on all day today (Thursday). I don't know if it's good enough but it's not worth a grade and I have to do another one that is suppose to be better than the first. So I'm happy with it at this point. Then to top it off, I have another test on Tuesday. The crappy thing about that test is, it includes the material we go over on Monday night too. So that basically means you teach yourself that information and come in with any questions. Well do you think I have done any study for this test? NO!!! Yikes! I am stressin! It's a good thing Roy is going to therapy and I have someone coming over to watch Marlee so I can sneak away and study for a couple of hours!! Saturday is clinical and I am gone for 12 hours but you better believe I will be studying all night. Then Sunday, oh Sunday that reminds me I still haven't figured out what I'm doing for singing time in Primary!! HEEELLLLPPPPP!
One question, How do you deal with stress?

Chocolate - lots of lots of chocolate. It always makes me feel better! And I'm doing this {http://www.sugardoodle.info/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=7324} for singing time. I'm going to make cute little word art & cut them out on hearts - want me to email them to you when I'm finished? Then you just have to print & cut them out. :)
Allison, i'm so sorry I stressed you out more than you already were. you did amazing though, and it was fun the girls really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I learned a lot too. you are amazing!
Stressed backwards is dessert, so of course I eat. I also like to run/workout really hard, so I guess that's how I work the stress out of my life. Anytime you need help with Marlee, please give me a call. Also, I think you should have a fun "back up" plan that you use for singing time when you don't have time to plan something new. Ie: hot/cold game, dice game, name that tune, etc. You're amazing, my friend!
Honestly, I think of you. I know that everything isn't always the easiest with my brother and Marlee. I worry about you (secretly, so don't ever ask me in person) and I am always inspired and eternally grateful for you. I love ya and I know you will be fine. I always live with the mantra "It could always be worse..."
